Water-miscible fluids

This is a general guideline for changing water-miscible cutting fluids, where the fluid type does not change and the target pH of the fluids is above 8.7. If you are using fluids with a pH below 8.7 under normal conditions, do not use this guideline. 

Consider manufacturer-specific differences

Note that there are differences between fluid manufacturers, for example, in the use of system cleaning agents. Ensure that you have up-to-date instructions, safety data sheets, and usage guidelines from your fluid manufacturer.
